It’s been pretty exciting being nominated for the Liebster award which recognises new and up and coming blogs. Thanks to Rakhi for the nomination and recognising my blog!
As part of award, I was also interviewed with 11 questions from fellow writer, Rakhi (R):
R: What is your favorite music?
Me: I’m a bit of a musical “whore” if you will and love all types of music from the classical to the street styles.
R: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Me: I have a few degrees in Psychology so I look at things from a bit more of a human behaviour perspective. I don’t think it’s a simple yes or no answer.
There are many reasons why we become attracted to another person, but I believe love is a lot deeper and takes time. I will say that I definitely believe in attraction at first sight.
Love is a bit more complicated.
R: What is your inspiration for writing?
Me: I see writing as an escape. It enables me to be transported to a new world.
I write from my emotions and pain which can be overwhelming sometimes.
R: Which book are you reading now a days? Me: Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. It is a great book!
R: Which country you have always dreamed to visit?
Me: The Maldives! Oh it looks so relaxing and tranquil.
R: Name 3 things you can’t live without.
Me: My notepad, chocolate and hugs.
R: What is best quality in your personality?
Me: I have a lot of empathy for people. I can really feel and understand how others
might be feeling or experiencing
R: What’s your favorite movie?
Me: Crash with Denzel Washington. Loveee itttt ❤
R: What’s your most loving hobby other than writing?
Me: Dancing! It makes me smile more than anything else in the world. Well, besides
R: What scares you the most?
Me: Dying from a broken heart. Being alone is a horrible feeling and I never want to
feel it. That’s why I’m glad to have all you lovely people to share life’s journey
11 facts about myself:
-My best childhood memory is going outside and playing with my parents in the the farm down the road from my house. It was so magical having such open space to play with my parents.
-I am most proud of completing my Psychology degree. It was really hard to get through
with my parents passing away but I managed to do it anyway. I think that took
a lot of determination.
-My ideal “perfect day” would be to wake up in a cabana on the water, have a buffet breakfast,
head to the beach and swim and relax all day, then get dressed and go for a night
-If I could witness an event from the past, it would be to be there when man first
walked on the moon. I can imagine my large family gathered around the TV watching
such a huge event and the sense of excitement on the streets following that event.
-My strongest personal quality is that I am very resiliant and I keep going
no matter how tough things can become.
-I want to engage in more hobbys and things I enjoy like singing and acting
-I love laughing and watching comedians.
-I wish I also had a sister
-I love gathering around a bonfire, toasting marshmellows and laughing with my friends
-I love being in nature like at the beach or ocean or in the rainforest
-I believe in love and I will find it with someone, someday, when the time is right 🙂
